Frankia Alfalfa Meal 3-0-2 is derived from pure, certified organic Alfalfa grown in the Canadian Prairies. Alfalfa contains Nitrogen and Potassium and is rich in organic matter and trace elements. Alfalfa contains the naturally occurring plant growth stimulant Triacontanol.

WHAT IS IT AND WHERE IS IT FROM?

Alfalfa Meal is the dried and ground plant material of pure Medicago sativa, a perennial bee-pollinated flowering plant in the legume family, Fabaceae. Like other legumes it forms a symbiotic relationship with Nitrogen fixing soil bacteria, capturing and storing atmospheric Nitrogen in its plant material which is released when it is incorporated back into the soil. Frankia Alfalfa is grown on certified organic farms in Saskatchewan, Canada.
